9161 An early 1800’s Pennsylvania flat top chest in its original rich green paint with hand wrought hardware including butt hinges, twisted rod side grips on chamfered corner plates secured with four hand cut screws each and an outstanding heart shaped escutcheon with key for lock. 9141 Discovered in Connecticut a ca. 1800’s mid century pine writer’s box with a finger notched pull out drawer, original dark stained finish and the original padded canvas top with its very fine oil painting of a serene homestead. Attached inside is the original brass wire spring clamp used to secure its contents. All corners are mitered with small square nail construction overall.
