9371   Found in NJ, untouched and floating on a custom museum mount is a double-sided ca. 1920 carved wooden serpent painted graphically in yellow, red and blue.  As a structural element an original metal batten is attached along the width of her top entire length.  Most likely she served outdoors as a carnival or arcade stimulator.  With but afforded grace for a minor wood loss at the tip of her tail she has survived perfectly.  In excellent condition this is sculptural folk art at its finest with a super slithering presence.  Such a sweet face, but look not too closely...sssss...  Size: 64”L x 3.25”W x 1.5”D  Overall height is 20.5”
