9295   Once part of a private folk art collection, originally from an elementary school in Burlingame, CA, a ca. 1930’s monetary exercise prop to teach kids the value of money.  Wooden coins were provided to Feed the Kitty inserting them into her open mouth depositing them into a rear reservoir to purchase milk, sandwich, etc.  Her black all over free hand form, polychrome caricature, emblazoned name starred in yellow all shadowed in aqua simply exceed charming.  Magnetic she remains relevant for any little or big kid not so well versed in the practical aspects of money management.  Well done, Teach…  Size: 20”H x 16”W x 6.5”D
