9270   Suspended on a museum stand in its original oxblood paint dated 1926 and signed in black C. Rich Frankford High School D5 is an example of a highly skilled craftsperson in the form of an oversized wooden hook.  Enhanced further by its wonderful patina, the curves, rounded profile and even the wooden patch executed perfectly on a bias (to replace a knot) are magnificent.  Not merely a wood shop project but a true work of Philadelphia folk art.  Size: 18.5”L x 10”W x 2.5” (thick)
